Within the Forward March Studios Library are a number of models with the word "deployed" in their file name. These models have been painstakingly researched and specially designed to model the tactical formations of horse and musket armies. Included are scale models of infantry companies and cavalry squadrons for the British, French, Russian, Prussian, and Austrian armies of the Napoleonic Wars.
We believe that the "deployed" files are unique amongst wargaming miniatures in that they accurately depict entire historic combat formations. Each model represents either a company of infantry or cavalry. The "deployed" models can be used with the regular artillery models, train, and generals to create exact replicas of armies as they actually deployed for battle.
The primary difference between the "deployed" range and the regular FMS 2mm models are that "deployed" models are on larger bases that allow an extra rank of officers to be placed behind the troops. This makes the deployed models slighly more expensive to print, but give you a depiction of a deployed military unit with unparalleled accuracy.
The deployed range also features battalion, squadron, and regimental command stands, as well as full battalion and regimental sized bands, and even stands of combat engineers.
